Latisha Martin
Ms. Latisha Martin is a self-advocate LEND graduate from the University of Vermont class of 2022. She is an African American woman from Dayton, Ohio. She has personal lived experience from a self-advocate standpoint on various topics. These topics include accessibility, childhood, and advocacy. She participates in several advocacy organizations in her community. She has attended project STIR training, which is a self-advocacy training. She has lived experience as a person with a disability living in her own apartment for six years. She has made it easier for other people in the building to have accommodations if they need it by successfully defending an accessibility discrimination case. She is an old school gamer. Her favorite show is Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, and she likes watching movies that have to do with disability.
