Biography
Ms. Alexa Murray has worked in various positions at OSU for more than 21 years. The unifying theme of her career has been to help produce and implement funded research to benefit the learning and instructional needs of students with and without disabilities, and more recently, to benefit the mental health needs of adults with IDD through the RRTC 2018 grant, which Ms. Murray helped to produce. She has extensive experience in managing large federal, multi-state projects and has coauthored 9 state and federal funded grant proposals totaling more than $15,000,000 awarded to the OSU Nisonger Center since 2003. She has served as the Program Coordinator, Evaluator, and/or Manager on numerous grants. At present, in addition to serving as the RRTC Program Manager, Ms. Murray works as a Program Evaluator at the OSU Nisonger Center with Dr. Jessie Green on a transitions project designed to increase access to competitive integrated employment (CIE) for individuals with more significant disabilities.
