Biography
Dr. Andrea Witwer is the Director of Training and the LEND program at the OSU Nisonger Center. She is also the lead psychologist in the Nisonger Center training clinics. She has provided diagnostic, consultation and intervention services to individuals with developmental disabilities for the past 15 years and has experience working with a range of professionals and self-advocates on issues related to disability. Dr. Witwer serves as the project co-lead for Study 3 with Dr. Lecavalier. Dr. Witwer works with the team to develop a treatment protocol for a virtual, group-based, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) intervention that combines evidence-based principles based on RRTC 2018 work. She also works to develop clinical assessment protocol that includes measures for three clinician-rated treatment measures for adults with IDD.
