Biography

Dr. Katherine Walton is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at OSU. She also serves as the Nisonger Center’s Director of Research and Director of the Early Learning Program. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University in 2013 and is a licensed clinical psychologist. Her current professional roles include a combination of research, teaching, graduate training, and clinical oversight. Dr. Walton’s primary efforts on the RRTC project is Co-Investigator on Study 1. In this study, she focuses on validating a new self-report measure of health-related quality of life and understanding how this measure may be used to improve patient-provider communication in existing healthcare settings.
