Biography

Dr. Luc Lecavalier is a Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at The Ohio State University. He is interested in the assessment and treatment of behavior and psychiatric problems in people with intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder and has been involved in the development, translation, adaptation, and psychometric evaluation of a number of instruments in the field. He has been a part of studies funded by the National Institutes of Health for the past 20 years. Additionally, he is the Area Coordinator and Director of clinical training for Ohio State’s Psychology Doctoral Program in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. As a Co-Investigator on Study 3, Dr. Lecavalier helps to develop and manualize a cognitive behavior psychotherapy intervention for adults with IDD.
